Orange Ginger Holiday Cranberry Sauce

Makes 2+ C


1 package fresh cranberries
½ C white sugar
Zest and juice from one clementine or small orange
¾ t allspice
1 cinnamon stick
1 T fresh grated ginger root
2 T dark rum


  • Place all ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to boil, lower heat and let bubble for about 3 minutes or until all cranberries have popped. Cool. Serve!
