Rosemary Raisin Turkey Burgers

Ingredients:

2 lbs. 93% lean ground turkey
1 large egg
3 T panko bread crumbs
¼ C heavy cream
2 t chopped fresh rosemary
2 very large cloves garlic chopped finely
Scant ½ C golden raisins
½ t good paprika
½ t savory seasoning blend (Penzy’s brand was my choice)
2 t kosher salt
1 t black pepper


Method:

  • Combine all ingredients, blend by hand, form into patties, fry in light olive oil.
  • For gravy, take drippings and blend with ¼ C cream, ¼ C vegetable stock, 1 T fresh lemon juice, and more fresh rosemary. Reduce, and serve over rice with roasted Brussel sprouts and rice.
