Quick Pulled Pork Sliders With a Mustard Caper Mayo on King’s Hawaiian Rolls

Utilize Pantry Ingredients for this Quick Tasty Appetizer!

1 package of 12 King’s Hawaiian Rolls

3 C pulled pork, room temperature

24 small or 12 large hamburger dill chips

¾ C Duke’s mayonnaise

¼ C yellow mustard

2 T capers, chopped

¾ C Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce

3 T salted butter

1 T coarse pink sea salt

METHOD:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Make mustard mayo by combining the mayonnaise, chopped capers, and mustard in a bowl. Mix well. Set aside.
  • With 1 T butter, grease the bottoms and sides of a 9 by 12 glass baking dish. Cut all the rolls in half lengthwise, put bottoms in the baking dish and tops next to the dish, keeping track of which top goes with which roll. Spread the mayo mixture evenly divided on the 12 roll bottoms. Place pickles on top of mayo mixture. Top with evenly divided pulled pork. Then a couple of tablespoons of the BBQ sauce. I put about 2 teaspoons on each roll. Replace top of roll.
  • Melt the 2 T butter and brush the tops of the rolls with butter and a sprinkling of coarse sea salt. If desired, use a short skewer to keep the sliders in place. Bake in oven for about 20 minutes. Remove, serve.
