Pineapple Cashew Rice

Made with Raven’s Original Pineapple Salsa™

serves 4
This is shown served with my Latin Apple and Anaheim Pepper Hamburger Steak.


½ C jasmine rice
1 C water
½ C Ravens Original Pineapple Salsa
1/3 C white onion thinly sliced
1/3 C chopped cashews
Salt and pepper to taste


  • Combine the rice, water, salsa,onion, cashews, and salt and pepper. Bring to boil, cover and simmer on very low for 20 minutes.Turn off heat, keep lid on until ready to serve. Season to taste.
  • NOTE: If you like heat you can experiment with adding a bit of cayenne or chili flakes.
