Pecan Nutmeg Brown Sugar Crumble (Snack Crack!)

A nice topping for baked pears, or over ice cream, or just to snack on when you need amazing flavor!

3/4 C pecans
1/2 C oatmeal, long cooking
2 heaping T brown sugar
1 T oil
1 t vanilla
Pinch salt
Pinch black cracked pepper
1/8 t ginger powder
1/4 t fresh grated nutmeg
1/4 t cinnamon

  • Toss to thoroughly coat. Spread out on foil lined baking sheet. It’s important it be touching and layered a little as it comes out of the oven in a brittle quality and you want to break it up into bite sized pieces that clump.
  • Bake at 375 degrees F for 10 minutes.
