Lick-Your-Lips Raspberry Jalapeño Steak Sauce

This easy, 2-step sauce creates surprisingly complex sauce that is sweet, hot, tart, and perfect with grilled steak and in this case, mashed fresh peas and caramelized onion.


½ C Raven’s Original Raspberry Jalapeño Jam

½ C ketchup

¼ C packed light brown sugar

Dash of onion salt

¼ t kosher salt,

1/8 t black pepper


  • Combine all ingredients with a whisk or spoon until well blended. Let sit for 20 minutes so sugar dissolves. Heat in a small saucepan just until bubbling, lower heat and let bubble gently for about 3 minutes.
  • Serve over steak!
  • Will keep in fridge for two weeks. Also try on hamburger steaks. Great on lamb as well!
