Greek, Rosemary & Ginger Turkey Burgers

Serves 6


INGREDIENTS:

1 lb. ground turkey

3 t fresh chopped rosemary

2 t fresh chopped lemon thyme

Zest of 1 lemon

1/3 C chopped red onion

1 large clove of garlic chopped finely

1 T candied ginger chopped finely

3 oz. mozzarella cheese grated

1 t kosher salt + ½ t black pepper

2 T olive oil + more to moisten hands while forming patties


METHOD:

  • Blend all ingredients together and form into 8 patties making sure hands are moistened with oil so the turkey doesn’t stick to your fingers allowing you to make a nice, round patty.
  • Heat a large skillet to high and add oil. Add burgers and brown each side until cooked inside. About 3 minutes or so per side.
  • Serve with your choice of sides.
